And when he had said these words, he himself also knelt upon the earth; and behold he prayed unto the Father, and the things which he prayed cannot be written, [i]3422[/i] and the multitude did bear record who heard him. And after this manner do they bear record:
“The eye hath never seen,
_neither hath the ear heard, before,
_so great and marvelous things
_as we saw and heard Jesus speak unto the Father; [i]1886[/i]“And no tongue can speak,
_neither can there be written by any man,
_neither can the hearts of men conceive
_so great and marvelous things
_as we both saw and heard Jesus speak;“And no one can conceive of the joy
_which filled our souls at the time [i]1887[/i]
